Microblading is a semi-permanent makeup procedure used to enhance, reshape or create natural looking brows. The procedure entails the use of a small hand tool, which is dipped into a pigment that has been matched to natural hair color and skin tone, which is used to create hair-like strokes and a feathered outline mimicking a natural brow. The pigment is deposited into the upper layers of the skin and will last 2-3 years, usually requiring annual touch-ups.
The initial procedure typically takes 2.5-3 hours. Topical anesthetic cream is used to provide maximal comfort. A touch-up between 4 and 6 weeks is included in the cost of your procedure.
Microshading creates a more “filled in” brow also using semi-permanent makeup using a stippling technique. This creates a soft, powdered look that resembles eyebrow powder. Microshading can be done in conjunction with Microblading for a small upcharge.
