Chemical Peels

Chemical peels remove the outer layers of aging to reveal more youthful skin below. Most chemical peels cause only minor to moderate discomfort. During treatment, patients report feeling a warm or sometimes hot sensation, followed by stinging, which generally resolves within ten minutes. You’ll enjoy a quick recovery, and little to no downtime is needed. Immediately following the peel you may notice some redness and feel some discomfort, with flaking and peeling occurring 2-10 days after the treatment. While some peels are potent enough to provide impressive results after just one treatment (for example: ZO Stimulation Peel), most clients enjoy more noticeable, additive results after 3-6 peels spaced 4-6 weeks apart.

Peel Menu:

DE Glycolic Peel (Light) - superficial chemical exfoliation that uses glycolic acid to dissolve the bonds between dead skin cells. It clears congestion, brightens tone, reduces fine lines, and stimulates collagen

DE Signature Peels (Light-Moderate Chemical Peels)

  • DE Brightening Peel  – great for uneven pigmentation, sun-spots, photodamage, acne and oily skin. Actives include: 14% Lactic acid,14% Salicylic acid, 2% Hydroquinone, 3% Kojic acid, 14% Resorcinol, Citric acid.
  • DE Snow White Peel – targeted for those with highly inflamed skin due to acne or rosacea. Actives include: 12% Lactic acid, 6% TCA, Kojic acid, Azeleic acid, Arbutin and Vitamin C. 

DE Advanced Peels (Moderate-Deep Chemical Peels)

  • DE Premium MD Peel (only available in physician offices) 

The most suitable candidates for this more active treatment are those with resilient skin.  The medical grade peel rejuvenates the skin and improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while promoting an even skin tone.  This is a stronger version of the DE Radiance Peel. Actives include: 20% TCA, 10% Lactic acid, Alpha-Lipoic acid, Emblica, Silymarin, Witch Hazel.

  • ZO 3-step Stimulation Peel (only available in physician offices)
    An innovative, in-office treatment peel targeting melasma, acne, fine lines, rough texture, large pores and dullness, followed by an at-home treatment that produces longer lasting results than ordinary peels.  Suitable for all skin types.  ** It is highly recommended to start a ZO Skin Health skin care regimen prior to having this peel for best results.**
