Microneedling, also known as Collagen induction therapy, has been well researched and well documented as a safe and effective treatment in acne scarring, anti-aging, skin resurfacing, reducing the appearance of surgical scars and stretch marks, and in the treatment of burns and other skin damage.
Our SkinStylus® MicroSystem works by creating numerous small microchannels through the skin using disposable Biolock needle cartridges, which stimulates the body to produce new collagen and remodel the treatment area. This mechanical creation of microchannels avoids the use of heat, thermal energy, or chemicals and virtually eliminates post-treatment sensitivity and downtime while achieving spectacular results. Additionally, these microchannels allow large topical molecules that normally cannot penetrate the skin, to pass through the microchannels and help beautify the skin. The SkinStylus® MicroSystem utilizes topicals specifically designed for microneedling which provide the necessary nutrients to rapidly improve the appearance of the skin.
Most clients will notice results after their 2nd treatment session and achieve maximal benefit after 4-6 sessions. One to 2 maintenance treatments per year is recommended.
